Finding Course Books

Print course reserve is not available due to ongoing pandemic concerns. Please use the following steps below to search for a copy of your course books.

You can chat in-person or remotely with the info desk about your textbooks.

Check Canvas to see if your professor uploaded first readings

Check the Northeastern Book Store (physically at the Curry Center) [buy or rent: new or used]

Check CISP after Labor Day (Cooperative Income Sharing Program) on the 1st Floor of the Knowles Center at the Law School that often sell casebooks from the prior year

Check Amazon for a second-hand copy

Check the Publisher directly

  • West Academic (print or individual e-book on their platform)
  • Wolters Kluwer (print, with some, not all, with an individual e-book on their platform)
  • Carolina Academic Press/Lexis  (print or an individual e-book on Kindle, Redshelf or Vital Source)
  • Other larger publishers will often have individual e-book versions, however, the smaller ones you might get on Kindle

Check the Library Catalogue (aka SOS) for any institutional electronic access to non-casebooks - your professor will usually note this in the course syllabus
