Major Online Databases

Online Searching

Research librarians can provide instruction and assistance in using Scholar OneSearch (the library catalog), Westlaw, Lexis, and any of the other online services to which we subscribe.

BLOOMBERG LAW, LEXIS, and WESTLAW

The law school subscribes to BLOOMBERG LAWLEXIS, and WESTLAW, and Contact Craig Eastland for passwords (c.eastland@northeastern.edu).  For training, contact your liaison or the Info Desk.

* Note that access to Lexis, Westlaw and Bloomberg Law is only available for CURRENT LAW FACULTY, STAFF and STUDENTS *

Other Electronic Sources

Many other electronic resources, listed in alphabetical order, are available from the law library's Research Databases page. (If you attempt to access some of these remotely, you may be prompted for an ID and password.) You also have access to all of the databases available through Snell.

CALI

The law school is a member of CALI, the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. The CALI exercises are available here and require registration and a customized password for access. Registration is required, and you can do it here. You need a special access code to create your own username and password. Please contact any of the research librarians for more information.
